Catherine Earl is a social anthropologist, policy analyst and community educator. Her research focuses on the rise of Vietnam’s middle classes, changing nature of work and welfare, urban mobilities, gender equity, sustainability and social change in contemporary Vietnam and Australia. She leads action research on implementing and evaluating Sustainable Development Goals in Vietnamese higher education and creativity and higher education in ASEAN.
