Enrollment Trends in Southeast Asia

Enrollment trends in Southeast Asia can be influenced by various factors such as population growth, government policies, economic conditions, and social factors.

Many countries in Southeast Asia have placed emphasis on inclusive education, aiming to provide education opportunities to children with disabilities and those from marginalized communities. Efforts are being made to ensure equitable access to education for all children, regardless of their background or abilities. While much efforts have been made to ensure equitable access to education, many economic and health challenges such as the COVID-19 proved the objective to challenging leading to less student enrollments and/or reporting in the years of 2019-2020.
